Blag!
In A Nutshell
Released in 2004, this is 'call my bluff' with pictures. Played in rounds, a different player is in charge each turn - the "bluffoon". The bluffoon takes the first picture from the box and notes down the real caption - found on the back. All the other players guess or bluff by writing down fake captions, or funny captions, or perhaps try to write the correct answer.
The bluffoon takes all the answers in, reads them out and then everyone votes on what they think is the the real caption. Points are scored for getting the answer right or when players think your answer (blag) is the real answer. The first to 20 points wins.
There are a number of ways to vary the play, we've also played that the funniest answer gets some points - in fact usually we've ignored the standard rules entirely - as people are happy bluffing verbally, guessing at the answer or making up a story on the spot to score some points.
